PROFILE GUIDELINES
For every profile that is registered, Lunch Works will individually review each one based on, and according to our own Profile Approval Policy. While Lunch Works remains committed to providing a safe, secure and friendly environment for its members whom seek new friendships and companionships etc, there are however certain guidelines to be followed in helping maintain the professionalism, quality and integrity of the site.
Any profile description/content you post to the site needs to be about you;
- it must be in English,
- always keep focus on the positives (don't be cruel to yourself or others),
- include as much information about yourself as possible, including your interests, values, what is important to you, and what you find entertaining and funny. It's all about letting others know about who you are,
- please DO NOT use both your first and last names when creating your profile username.
Your profile will NOT be approved by Lunch Works if it contains;
- any of your personal contact information such as email address, mobile or telephone numbers, postal address, or your first and last names,
- obscene/offensive/abusive/violent/aggressive or sexually explicit language or content,
- derogative or racially offensive terminology,
- any promotion of a third party or business,
- advertising, market research, event information or weblinks,
- any reference to drugs or other illegal activities,
- negativity towards yourself or others,
- any illegible or illegal content.
(1) IMPORTANT POINT TO REMEMBER
The About You section of your profile has 2 mandatory text fields titled Headline and About You, both of which require a minimum number of characters to be entered for each.
Please Please Please write something that you have at least taken a few minutes to think about when completing these two fields. Please see Profile Tips for an IMPORTANT NOTE when it comes to this.
Lunch Works WILL NOT APPROVE profiles that have the same short few words copied and pasted multiple times over in the one field, nor will we approve a profile that has copied and pasted the same information into both fields.
We know people do this as an easy way to meet the minimum number of characters required for the two fields, but Lunch Works will NOT approve your profile if this is the case.
It's the members chance to actually tell potential partners as much about themselves as they please. The less you put, the less interest there will be. The better the content, the higher the traffic to your profile and messages to your inbox.
If you're not ready to tell others about yourself yet, then maybe hold off until feeling more comfortable.
Until a member has completed their profile up to the About You stage, their profile cannot be approved.
Use of the Lunch Works site is governed by our Terms & Conditions . Please ensure you have read our Terms & Conditions prior to joining.
Use of your personal information and what Lunch Works does and doesn't do with it is set out in our Privacy Policy .
