VENUE GUIDE PRIVACY STATEMENT
Our Privacy Statement, together with our Terms Of Use, is aimed at ensuring that we maintain a safe, secure and privacy-conscious website.
Collecting data
When you register your establishment with Lunch Works, we will be asking you for some personally identifiable information such as your name, position, email address and contact phone number. This information is never displayed on the website, and is only used for contact purposes by Lunch Works staff and employees. Other information we need to collect is relevant to your establishment, and will be used to form your venues listing on the Lunch Works Venue Guide website.
How we use the data collected
If you decide to complete a Preferred Venue Application Form, the information that you provide will be collected and saved by us. The information you supply to us is used to best promote your venue so that we can deliver our service, and is also used by Lunch Works in administering your listing and contacting you if and when needed.
Security
We operate a secure data network protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. We have appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that you have submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Although Lunch Works makes use of up to date technology in order to protect your profile information and photos, please keep in mind that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We keep the information you have given us for as long as you are a member on the Lunch Works site, or for as long as we are required to do so by law, which ever is longer.
Financial information
We do not collect any credit card details from online transactions made on the Lunch Works web site. All credit card information is held by Pay Pal. Lunch Works only receives notification from Paypal once the credit card transaction has been approved or declined.
If we do require credit card details to settle a payment dispute, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any of your financial information which, may come to our attention is secure and protected.
Opting out of promotional information
At Lunch Works, we strive to provide our clients the best possible service at all times. From time to time, we will send our venue members newsletters, updates and other useful information. We hope that you will find these items informative and useful. However, should you choose to not receive them in the future, you will have the ability to unsubscribe by following the Unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
Amendments to Privacy Statement
Lunch Works may from time to time, review and update this Privacy Statement to take account of new laws, technology and changes to Lunch Works’ operations. If our information practices change at some time in the future, all personal information held by Lunch Works will be governed by its most recent policy, posted on the Lunch Works website.
